What is Preksha Meditation?

Preksha Meditation is the combination of knowledge from our ancient religious books, modern science and our experience. Preksha Meditation is the practice of purifying our emotions and our conscious (chitta) and realizing our own self. Preksha Meditation is a technique of mediation for attitudinal change, behavioral modification and integrated development of personality.
Started in 1975 Preksha Meditation is the result of the untiring efforts of Ganadhipati Tulsi and Acharya Mahapragya. Acharya Mahapragya researched and experimented for twenty years to rediscover the process of meditation, which was practiced by Lord Mahaveera. Preksha Meditation is for everyone, irrespective of his or her race, religion language, colour, sex and belief.
Thousands of successful camps and seminars of national and international level have been organized to inculcate the techniques of this unique method called Preksha Meditation. More than 550,000 people around the world, with different cultural backgrounds and religions, have benefited from regularly practicing it. Amongst them are people from all walks of life.

What is the end result of this unique experience?

It leads to a life, which is balanced, blissful and full of peace; free from stress and enlightened in all respects. It helps to connect with your soul at its most profound level, achieving a state of super consciousness and increased concentration. Besides it endows upon us a boon of good health. Course of Preksha Meditation camp

Yoga: Yoga is not only a physical exercise. It is a science, which develops personality, leads a person to harmony, peace, concentration and balance. It helps to practice meditation. 

Pranayam: Pranayam is the advanced technique of stilling the breath. It helps to achieve a calm, blissful and focused mind. It balances left and right hemispheres and is important in preparation for meditation. 

Kayotsarg: Kayotsarg is a tool for self-purification and realization. It helps to reduce physical, mental, emotional, intellectual stress and anxiety. In this age of tension and stress, Kayotsarg leads to a happy, peaceful and contented life.

Mantra Meditation: Mantra Meditation is a powerful ancient practice. It affects the chemistry of the body and mind. Mantra meditation awakens consciousness and enlightenment.

Preksha Meditation: Preksha Meditation is a path of self awakening and self realization. It helps to connect with your soul at its most profound level, achieving a state of super consciousness and increased concentration. The process of meditation puts you in touch with enlightenment, peace of mind and simple clarity.

  • It is a 8 day full time residential camp.
  • Participation Fees – Whatever you wish to donate for the noble cause.
  • Delhi-Bangalore-Delhi air ticket will be reimbursed (maximum upto 8000 or actual, whichever is less).
  • Carry white clothes as it is helps in meditation & Yoga.
  • Bring your routine day-to-day necessities like medicines etc…
  • Separate accommodation for Males & Females
  • Outside eatables are not allowed.
  • Participants are not allowed to leave the campus without prior permission.
  • Being winter season, carry warm / woolen clothing.
  • Intoxicating things & liquor are not allowed.
  • Due to limited entries, Registration will be done on first come first serve basis.


Rooms are good, equipped with necessary modern facilities on shared basis with attached bathrooms. Linens are provided.

The food served in the camps is vegetarian / Lacto-Vegetarian. It is fresh, healthy and specially prepared with love and care.

Bangalore is extremely well-connected by regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai and most other important cities in India and also has international carriers flowing in and out of the Bengaluru International Airport, which is located about 40 kilometres from the main city. A taxi from the airport would take about 45 minutes to reach the city.
